The Mediterranean region and Hauser Wein share a valuable motto: Life is beautiful! Best known as "Bella Vita" and "Joie de Vivre". This view is accompanied by many rituals and traditions. Passed down through generations celebrated and also being lived today, this also influences the European drinking culture. In addition to the Italian Amaros, sweet liqueur wine is very popular in Southwest Europe. What is sweet wine? The most famous one we know is "Porto" or "Portwine" from Portugal.

The name indicates the origin. Port comes in two variants: red and white. White Porto is being enjoyed as an aperitif, while red is often seen after the meal as a dessert wine. Inspired by the enjoyable ease of everyday life in the Mediterranean region, Werner Hauser started in 2019 to create his very own sweet wine: Sweethaus.
